The XYZ Show is Africa's first and most popular puppet political satire show, produced by Buni Media in Nairobi.

Buni Media is a producer and distributor of innovative African multimedia content. It has produced popular shows like Ogas At The Top, Once Upon A Time In Africa, The XYZ Show, among other great puppet Shows, that are being watched in Africa and the rest of the world.

Buni Media uses its workshop, The GoDown, Located in Nairobi's Industrial Area, for media production and also uses a digital platform to distribute its media. Various Television stations have also aired the XYZ Show since its inception.

The XYZ show was inspired by the French "Guignols de l'Info" and the British "Spitting Image", and was launched in 2009, by Gado Mwampembwa and his co founder Marie Lora­-Mungai, with an aim of having a social impact by exposing with humor, the rampant corruption and mismanagement of the country.

Since its launch, the show has been running for more than one hundred episodes and followed by more than ten million viewers on television in Kenya, and through out the rest of the continent.  The show can also be viewed on the online site at, on the show's Facebook Page, on Twitter and on its YouTube Channel.

In 2013, the XYZ Show was the winner of the Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards, held in Nigeria, for Best TV Series. THE XYZ SHOW was featured on CNN, the BBC, Variety Magazine, Reuters, AP, AFP, VOA, RFI, The Guardian, The Observer, MNET, and many other news outlets worldwide.

Every week its cast of latex characters comments on Kenyan and international news with gusto: Barack Obama, Muammar Gaddafi, Mwai Kibaki, Robert Mugabe, Raila Odinga, Kofi Annan, Yoweri Museveni, Uhuru Kenyatta, William Rutu, Jakaya Kikwete, Jacob Zuma or Luis Moreno-Ocampo, nobody is safe from XYZ's witty brand of humor.
