For the past twenty years, the Acholi people have suffered atrocities commited by the LRA. This documentary follows three children:

Dominic (14), an escaped child soldier and xylophone virtuoso, Rose (13) a choirgirl who watched her parents brutally murdered and Nancy (14), a dancer who is struggling to keep herself and siblings alive.

They are three of the children at Patongo Primary School who have qualified to participate in a nationwide dance and music festival. They have never left the camp, until now, and dream of tall buildings and soda.

This joyful film won the Directing Award at The Sundance Film Festival in 2007.
