Starring Presley Chweneyagae as Boy-Boy, whose star performance led to the Foreign Language Oscar win for film Tsotsi. State of Violence is about his brother, Bobedi, a member of the business elite with a past, who asks him to help him find his wife's killer, which reopens a past he had kept hidden and tried to forget.
"State of Violence" was the opening film at the Dubai International Film Festival and was in competition at the Berlin Film Festival this year.
