Le Havre (Trailer)

A young, African boy arrives by cargo ship at the port of Le Havre, where an old shoe shiner decides to help him.

Finland's submission to the 84th Academy Awards (2012), Le Havre, is a charming, irreverent fairytale that manages to light up the darkness associated with illegal immigration. A young boy arrives at port Le Havre in the hope that it's London, and is lucky to meet his champion, a bohemian shoeshiner, that fiercely protects him from authorities desperate to deport him. This film won awards in Cannes, the Cesars and the Film Critics Association (USA), among others.
