A dutiful college graduate has to consider giving up graduate school and a love life, to her parents arrangement for her to marry the Venda King.
Elelwani is considered the first film originating and fully created in Venda, a self-governing, partially independent state that had been set aside for black people during Apartheid.
This film premiered at the Durban International Film Festival 2012.
