El Problema/The Problem: Testimony of the Saharawi People (Trailer)


A hidden territory, the last colony in Africa is finally revealed in this documentary.

 The Western Sahara was a region colonized by Spain from 1885 to 1975, and abandoned without the UN's referendum of self determination. Morocco quickly illegally occupied the territory and until now, ruled with constant oppression of the inhabitants, the Saharawi, which keeps the situation a secret, now revealed in this documentary. This film won the Amnesty International Prize, at the Human Rights Film Festival San Sebastian in 2010.
